I hold a degree in design of interactions and web integration as well as a bachelor’s degree in visual and media arts education. I gained a lot of experience and developed my great empathy with the students I teached visual art for almost a decade. UX / UI design is for me a very natural continuation of my career in which humans take a prominent place, combining my passion for new technologies and design.

What I’ve learned in IxDF UX courses

It’s now five years since I’m in the industry as a freelancer and working “in house”. I’ve worked on many websites and web/mobile app. Since the start of my UX career, I have been constantly training myself, in particular thanks to the training offered by IxDF. These training courses support me throughout my career and adapt to the different stages and challenges that I encounter in my professional practice.

Psychology of E-Commerce: How to Sell Online

For example, the course Psychology of E-Commerce: How to Sell Online has given me several theoretical arguments to present to clients when I develop their e-commerce strategy. So I integrate principles of social validation, emotional decision-making, and so much more into their website.

Conducting Usability Testing

I’ve also gained confidence at conducting user research and usability testing in the Conducting Usability Testing and User Research — Methods and Best Practices courses.

UX Management: Strategy and Tactics

I am now working as a UX designer in a company whose UX maturity is yet to be developed. After following the UX Management: Strategy and Tactics course, I practiced my leadership by proposing a roadmap to increase UX maturity in my company and foster an Outside-In culture.

How and why I cultivate a self-learning practice

Working full time and studying at the same time can be challenging. Here’s some reasons I like IxDF:

  • Because it’s self-paced learning approach allows me to go at my own pace without having the pressure to finish.
  • I can set myself goals according to the pace of my work. When I am less busy, I complete a section. When I have a lot of work, I can take a break.
  • I can learn several subjects at the same time without having to pay more.
  • I can choose subjects of study related to my professional reality or the challenges I encounter.
  • I gain notoriety when I post the training certificates on social networks. It shows my interest in constantly learning.

Do I recommand Interaction Design Foundation?

Of course I do! As a student of this platform for several years, I am pleased to do this review for IxDF. This platform is not only accessible for all budgets compared to others, but it follows me and helps me in my professional challenges. I therefore recommend it to all UX designers, at any level of experience. It’s never too late to keep learning! By the way, I wanted to mention that I was not paid to write this review, I do so with sincerity and integrity.
